13th May. Swan still sitting. Current research suggest that 31-45 days is required to incubate the eggs (thanks to the RSPB). This means by our own records cygnets should appear first week of June. Interestingly both male and female (cob and pen) incubate the eggs.
12th May. Swan still sitting on nest. No sign of cygnets yet. Seven on the lookout.
1st May. Swan still there, looking very white. Also looking a bit worn out.
29th April: 3 eggs now appeared. Council have taken drastic action and have fenced off the area.
27th April: First observed nest building, keeping company with a duck.
